Willow Farm sits on roughly 160 acres of green farmland with creek frontage, about four minutes out of Berry village. It is one of the loveliest DIY-friendly venues on the South Coast and I would love to photograph a wedding here.

Weddings at Willow Farm Berry
There is a 1920s stone farmhouse with accommodation, a farm shed, and a lot of open ground with the option of bringing in a marquee. Ceremonies happen down by the creek, canapes go in the country gardens, and there is a yoga barn with white walls, bamboo floors and a glass frontage onto a deck over the paddocks, which doubles as the wet-weather ceremony space.

The creek is the frame worth planning around. Willows, water and low light in the late afternoon. The yoga barn is the sleeper: white walls and a glass frontage make it the best soft-light room on the property, and it is genuinely good for portraits, not just a rain backup. Because so much of the day is set up by you, small details end up meaning more, and they are worth photographing properly.
