The Woods Farm
wedding photographer
The Woods Farm sits on forty acres at Tomerong, minutes from the white sand of Jervis Bay, and it is built for the kind of long, unhurried wedding weekend I love photographing.

The 120 metre aisle under the jasmine arches leading to the bush chapel
Weddings at The Woods Farm
The ceremony space is an open-air bush chapel surrounded by native trees, reached down a long aisle running under jasmine-covered arches. The reception happens in a luxe-rustic shed with chandeliers and an indoor bar. Guests stay on site across country cabins and glamping tents, and there are horses, goats, alpacas, peacocks and ponies wandering the place.

Photographing here
That long jasmine aisle is one of the best processional shots on the South Coast, and it is worth arriving early enough to shoot it empty as well as full. Bush light is dappled and high contrast, so the timing of your ceremony matters more here than at an open venue. Because everyone sleeps on site, the day runs late and loose, which is where the honest, unguarded frames come from.
Worth knowing before you plan
Tomerong is a couple of minutes from Jervis Bay, so a lot of couples add beach portraits either at sunset or the next morning. That is a genuinely lovely add-on and it needs to be built into the coverage hours rather than squeezed in. Worth raising when you enquire.

Questions about
The Woods Farm
Do you photograph weddings at The Woods Farm, Jervis Bay?
Yes. The Woods Farm at Tomerong is a venue I would love to shoot, and Jervis Bay is a straightforward drive from Wollongong. Send through your date and I will let you know if I am free. If you want beach portraits nearby as well, factor that into your coverage hours.
Can we get Jervis Bay beach photos on our Woods Farm wedding day?
Usually yes, because the beaches are only minutes away. It works best either as a short sunset trip or as a relaxed session the morning after, when nobody is on a schedule. Either way it needs to be planned into the hours rather than added on the day.
