Formal gardens give you structure, which is genuinely useful: hedges, paths and symmetry make for clean, composed portraits that do not depend on perfect light. The manor facade is the classic wide frame. The bridal salon matters more than it sounds, because a proper getting-ready room with real light is where a third of the best photos of the day happen, and most venues do not have one.
Worth knowing before you plan
Albion Park is under half an hour from Wollongong, so travel is a non-issue and I am not rushing in from somewhere else. Being minutes from the coast makes a short beach or escarpment portrait trip realistic if you want the contrast, though the gardens alone are usually enough.
