Weddings at Montrose House
The homestead is heritage-listed and approved for weddings, sitting on more than thirty acres between Bundanoon and Sutton Forest. There is a traditional keystone barn used as the reception space with a commercial kitchen behind it, a two-bedroom cottage overlooking the grounds, a berry farm and the original farm outbuildings. It was known as Montrose Berry Farm before the rebrand.

Established grounds are the thing here. Mature trees, deep lawns and a homestead facade that holds up in almost any light, which takes the pressure off if your ceremony time is fixed. The keystone barn is the opposite: enclosed, textured, warm, ideal for the film frames later in the night. The old outbuildings are the quiet spot for a few minutes of proper portraits away from everyone.
Worth knowing before you plan
Between Bundanoon and Sutton Forest, so roughly two hours from Sydney and an easy Highlands run from Wollongong. The grounds are big and mature, which means the light changes character a lot across the property through an afternoon. Getting your ceremony time locked early lets us plan portraits around it properly.
