The property is exclusively yours for the day, which means real privacy and quiet. There are a few very different spots to marry in: the Old Shed, the Summer House Chapel, and Ceremony Rock, which is the one most couples come for. Wildwood House provides accommodation on site, with views out over the Lower Valley.

Rainforest and a sandstone escarpment is a big, high-contrast environment, and it needs handling rather than just pointing a camera at. Shade under the canopy is deep and even, which is beautiful for faces. The escarpment catches the last light long after the valley floor has gone flat, so the final portrait window here is later than you would expect. Ceremony Rock is the frame, and it is worth ten unhurried minutes.
Worth knowing before you plan
Exclusive use means the day can be shaped around the light instead of around another booking, which is a genuine advantage. Kangaroo Valley is slower to drive than it looks and the last stretch is rural, so I build in time rather than cutting it fine. Most guests stay locally overnight.

Later than most venues. The sandstone escarpment holds the last light well after the valley floor has gone flat, so the final portrait window stretches longer here. Deep even shade under the rainforest canopy is also lovely for faces at any point in the afternoon.
